Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology, Madhuranthagam Taluk has signed MOU with Beekay Steel Industries Limited with specific focus on facilitating collaborative research and student training for the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
Prof. V. Ilangovan, Principal, has signed the MOU at a brief function held at the campus on Wednesday, 10th August 2011. The Director was optimistic that the relationship between KVCET and Beekay Steel Industries Limited would lead to academic excellence. Mr.V.Sankar, Manager of the company said that both organizations would work for mutual benefits. Beekay Steel Industries Limited bags 10 billon worth orders from Southern Railways and BHEL.
Members from both sides had fruitful discussions on energy auditing, consultancy, laboratory testing and structure bonding. Dr.V.C. Ravichandran Advisor, Prof. T. Rangarajalu, Dean (Administration), Dr.K.Jayaprakash, Mr.R.Anandan and Industrial officials were present at the meeting.
