The Library of Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology has set its vision as" To enlighten the user community". The library is situated on the Second and Third floor of the main building with a floor area of about 7000 sq.ft.Our Library is enhanced with latest Technology to facilitate the students and faculty to develop their knowledge and skills.The main sections in the library are The Stack room, Reading Halls with Periodical section, circulation/Reprographic section with Auto-Lib Softwarevolume section and Library with Internet Connction.
OPAC (Online Public Access Cataloguing) provides centralised information about available books, Journals etc., to know whether the required books are in circulation or available in racks. It also provides opportunity for users to reserve and renew books in the college aswellas through online using AUTO-LIB, a specialised software for internal library maintenance. with 10 computers connected to internet all the time to browse e-journals, e-books etc., online subscriptions like IELTS, INDEST, IEEE etc are avilable for helping students and faculty members to research and guide them in projects. The library has centralised Air-conditioned system and provided with reading hall with calm and quiet atmosphere. It has various international journals and technical magazines etc.,
