DEPARTMENT PROFILE
The department of information Technology started in year 2001. The department offers IT courses to the students by maintaining equilibrium between software and hardware subjects. The thrust of software subject is on Internet and Web based technologies and thrust of hardware courses mainly on network & communication technology. Apart from the regular academic activities the deptt. also conducts projects on website development for the institute.

INFRASTRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
The department has fully developed Internet Lab, software Development Lab, Information System Lab, Computer graphics Lab, UNIX & LINUX Lab, Database Management Lab with all supported softwares. The deptt. Also extends Internet Services to all students through 8 Mbps Leased line provided by Reliance India. Department has services equipped with different operating system and softwares such as LINUX, UNIX, Solaris, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Java, Oracle (RDBMS) 10i, C++/C, Visual Basic, SQL Server etc.
