The college is equipped with modern amenities and facilities. Spread over a picturesque campus beautifully landscaped with lawns, trees making it very eco-friendly. The pleasant surroundings of the campus promote a good atmosphere for concentration and studying.

Spread in an area of 63 acres, KVCET The main building is a stupendous structure with a built-up plinth area of 2 lakh sq.ft cater to the needs, convenience and comfort of the students. Thirty class rooms, a well-stacked library, sophisticated laboratories, 2 workshops, air conditioned computer centres with broadnand internet facility, conference halls, canteen and a student amenity area are housed in the main building.

TRANSPORT
The College plys buses from Chennai city, Acharapakkam, Kalpakkam, Chengalpattu to the college premises. Hi-tech buses facilities all the day scholars to be in time to the college.

Computer Centre

Morethan 600 Pentium IV, Dual core computers with latest configuration are available in campus to satisfy the needs of students in laboratories, Library and Hostels. 8 Mbps Leased line Internet connection is availble round the clock with Hardware firewall and dedicated servers working 24 hours a day for safe and secure browsing. All computers are provided with network connection through ethernet, fiber backbone and Wi-fi . All computer labs have been air conditioned and well maintained. Peripherals such as laser printer, inkjet printers, dot matrix printers, line printers and multimedia kits are available. Campus agreement has also been made with Microsoft. Internet browsing is allowed for students from 09.00a.m to 06.30p.m on all days. Laptops will be issued to all PG students and Wi-Fi connectivity is provided for the same.

Dining Hall

Highly sophisticated mess are available separate for Boys Hostel and Girls Hostel providing Hygenic and Nutritious food. Mineral water plants are available with in the hostels. Chettinad cooks are employed to cater to the needs of the students. A large dining hall which can accommodate 400 students at a time is equipped with stainless steel furnitures is available. Mineral water is provided for drinking and cooking also.

Accommodation : Home substituted

Separate modern and well-equipped hostels for men and women are available . Well furnished luxurious rooms, spacious mess hall, A/c rooms, dormitory type rooms, special security arrangements and so on make the hostel life very pleasant for the students. Sports facilities movie screening and internet is made available relaxation of the students.

Sports Facilities
The college directs its concerted attention on 3 dimensions of holistic development viz academic excellence, achievements in sports & games & involvement in community welfare. A well developed gymnasium is available for the students. Facilities for various games like volley ball, cricket, hockey, ball badminton, table tennis, Basket Ball etc are provided.

Gymnasium
KVCET has an ultra-modern gymnasium with high-tech equipment. The gymnasium has been refurbished recently and new equippment like digital electronic treadmills have been added to the impressive setup.The new Gymnasium is a fine recreational facility with a fully equipped weight-training section and a qualified kineticist

The library is situated on the Second and Third floor of the main building with a floor area of about 7000 sq.ft and centralised air-conditioned.

300 bedded Hospital is available in the same campus to cater to the needs of the sick students 24 Hours.

Edu- Sat e-Leanrning
The Centre for Faculty Development of Anna University– Chennai conducts the ANNA EDUSAT live interactive audio-video lecture programmes transmitted through KU-Band provided by ISRO, Bangalore. Down linking facilities from satelite have been provided in Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engg., & Tech.
Live audio-video two way interactive lectures are given by expert faculty drawn from Anna University/IIT/affiliated colleges during semester session on orking days. The lectures presently focus on the needs of B.E. students of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering. General engineering subjects meant for students of all branches are also covered.
