5th GRADUATION DAY

Ceremony was held on 08/04/10 at 10.00 a.m., Prof. Dr. P. Mannar Jawahar, Vice Chancellor of Anna University was the Chief Guest. Mrs. Meenakshi Annamalai, Director presided over the function. Prof.Dr.V.Ilangovan, Principal welcomed the gathering. Prof.T.Rangarajulu, Dean (Administration), declared the names of the rank holders. The Graduands were presented by the respective Heads of the Departments. Mr. PL. Sathosh Kumar, Graduand of Mechanical Engineering has secured University 38th rank and was awarded with Gold medal. Also department-wise toppers were awarded with silver medals. The highlight of the Chief Guest's address was "Each and every graduand of Anna University will certainly get right placement at right time". He mentioned that the qualities of perseverance and trainable traits can place them well in industries.The ceremony came to an end at 12 p.m.,

4th GRADUATION DAY(14th March,2009)

The convocation day is the highlight of every student's life. It marks the culmination of their academic life. KVCET celebrated this momentous day on 18th March 2009 at the College auditorium. Prof. Dr. K. Meer Musthafa Hussain, Vice Chancellor, Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai was the Guest of Honour and delivered the convocation address. Mrs. Meenakshi Annamalai, Director, KVCET presided over the function. Prof. Dr. K. Meer Musthafa Hussain, Vice Chancellor, Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai delivered the Graduation day address and awarded the degrees and medals to the students. Dr. Annamalai Ragupathy, Managing Director, KIDS & KIMS was also present and honored the Guest of Honour.

EIGHTH ANNUAL DAY (18th March'2009)


Eighth Annual day was celebrated at 4 PM on Wednesday, the 18 th March,2009 in the college premises. Thiru S Regupathy, Honourable Minister of state for Environment and Forests. Govt. of India and founder of KVCET group of Institutions presided over the function. Thiru. Srikanth, Cine Actor was the chief Guest and gave away the prizes to the students. Various cultural events performed by the students added hue and gay to the entices of the day.

YOUTH RED CROSS

Red Cross Society functions with the one and only aim of serving people in distress without any consideration of caste, religion, language and nationality. The Indian Red Cross Society serves as an auxiliary to the State authorities engaged in social welfare activities accepting the rules and regulations of the State, but at the same time maintaining its autonomy so that it can act always in accordance with the fundamental principles.
The Youth Red Cross is the most important constituent of its mother organization, Indian Red Cross. It is a group movement organized at the initial stages for students between 18 and 25 years of age within the colleges. A qualified lecturer is recognized as the leader and he is called the Programme Officer. Under his guidance, the students are trained and encouraged to manage the affairs of the group, electing their own office-bearers.
