The department was established in the year 2001. The successful candidates are occupying eminent positions in India as well as abroad and are making significant contributions to the Economic Development of the country in many spheres. The department organizes Seminars at National Level on various topics in emerging areas. Career Guidance Programs and Entrepreneurship Awareness Programs are also carried out. The department has well-qualified staff in all major areas of the discipline. The staff are also well experienced in their respective fields and they maintain a good blend of discipline and expertise. The department is supported by faculty members more than sufficient in number catering to the requirements of the student strength of over 396. It has been Accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, India.
